AFD key numbers: orientations and trends

 
In the interest of transparency and effectiveness, AFD has created a powerful system of information and key indicators that it uses to track the evolution of its activities and financing. This document presents a succinct version of the main trends that emerged from a strategic analysis of AFD’s 2004-2008 activities, as it takes stock of its progress towards achieving its 2011 objectives, which were defined in its “Second Strategic Orientation Project.”

These numbers and graphs were provided by AFD’s Strategic Information Systemin 2009(SIS)

The Strategic Information System (SIS) is a multidimensional database for the analysis of AFD’s activities over five-year periods. It crosses data points by activity, performances and impacts as well as by geographic location(s), sector(s) of activity and type(s) of financing instrument on an annual basis since 2004.

The SIS database is used to create an annual summary report that analyses the AFD Group’s actual position relative to its strategic objectives to provide guidance and transparency.
